SSO OTR Update 2026: Fix Details Before Forms
Rajasthan recruitment forms now depend heavily on your SSO ID and One Time Registration profile. If your OTR has an old mobile number, wrong category, missing education details, or an unverified email, fix it before you click Apply Now. Once a form is submitted, later changes may not move into that application automatically.
What Is SSO OTR in Rajasthan Recruitment?
OTR means One Time Registration. It is the candidate profile used on the Rajasthan Recruitment Portal for government job applications. The portal supports recruitment steps from notification and application to exam, result, and candidate communication through SSO dashboard, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and other channels.
The Recruitment Portal works through SSO login and connects with identity and document systems such as Aadhaar, Jan Aadhaar, Employee ID, DigiLocker, and Rajasthan e-Vault.
Why Update OTR Before Filling a Form?
Your OTR details are not just for login. They can affect your application data, eligibility details, document records, category information, and future recruitment communication.
The official help document says candidates can create or update their OTR after logging in through SSO. If an OTR number is not generated, the candidate is redirected to the One Time Registration page before applying.
Details You Should Check First
Before any RSSB, RPSC, or Rajasthan government recruitment form, check:
- Candidate name
- Father’s name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- Correspondence address
- Category details
- Rajasthan government employee status
- Education details
- DigiLocker document status
Some fields, including mobile number, email ID, correspondence address, Rajasthan government employee status, and category in allowed cases, may be updated with OTP authentication.
How to Update SSO OTR in 2026
Step 1: Login Through SSO
Go to the Rajasthan SSO portal and sign in with your SSO ID and password. After login, open Recruitment Portal under G2C services. The official OTR help document confirms that candidates must first log in through SSO and then open the Recruitment Portal.
Step 2: Open One Time Registration
On the Recruitment Portal dashboard, choose One Time Registration or Update Profile. If you try to apply without completing OTR, the portal may show a message asking you to update details on the OTR page first.
Step 3: Verify Identity Details
For Rajasthan residents using Jan Aadhaar, details such as name, date of birth, gender, father’s name, mobile number, and email may be fetched from Jan Aadhaar where available. If email is missing, the candidate must enter and verify it through OTP.
Candidates using Aadhaar may also fetch basic identity details after OTP verification, then enter mobile number and email details where required.
Education Details: Use the One-Time Edit Carefully
The Recruitment Portal provides a one-time edit/delete facility in the Education Details section of the OTR Document Details page. This means candidates can correct or remove education details, but the same detail cannot be edited again after using that option.
If DigiLocker fetches wrong marksheet details, first update the record in DigiLocker. If the issue remains, the official FAQ says candidates may upload the document manually.
Important Warning Before Final Submit
Application forms show the education details saved in your OTR at the time of form submission. If you update education details later, they may not appear in an already submitted form unless the concerned department provides an application edit facility.
If the final submission is done and the edit deadline has passed, later OTR education updates will not reflect in that application. In that case, candidates must contact the concerned department.
Final Checklist Before Applying
Update your OTR at least a day before the last date, verify mobile and email OTP, check Jan Aadhaar or Aadhaar-fetched details, confirm category and address, review education records, and save screenshots or acknowledgements where available. The safest rule is simple: fix OTR first, apply later.
