SSO ID Registration Rajasthan 2026: Aadhar, Form & Login
SSO ID registration is the free online process of creating a Single Sign-On account at sso.rajasthan.gov.in/register, issued by the Department of IT&C, Government of Rajasthan. One ID unlocks 100+ state services through a single username and password.
A quick clarification before you start: in India, “SSO ID” almost always means Rajasthan SSO. Gujarat residents use a different system — covered briefly below. Every step here is verified against the official portal.
Before You Start: Eligibility & Documents
You can register if you are a Rajasthan resident, a Rajasthan-registered business, a Rajasthan state government employee, or a candidate from any state applying for RPSC/RSSB jobs.
Keep one of these ready based on your category:
- Citizen — Jan Aadhaar number, Aadhaar, Bhamashah, Google account, or DigiLocker
- Udyog (Business) — Business Registration Number (BRN) or Udyog Aadhaar
- Government Employee — SIPF username and password
You also need an active mobile number linked to the ID you choose, since OTP verification cannot be skipped. Registration is free. No portal, agent, or e-Mitra centre is allowed to charge a fee for it.
Choose Your Registration Path
| User Type | Required ID | Best For | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Citizen (Jan Aadhaar) | Jan Aadhaar number | Rajasthan residents | 3–5 min |
| Citizen (Google) | Gmail account | Out-of-state candidates | 2–3 min |
| Udyog | BRN / Udyog Aadhaar | Businesses in Rajasthan | 5 min |
| Govt. Employee | SIPF credentials | State govt. staff | 5 min |
Step-by-Step SSO ID Registration Process
Citizen Registration via Jan Aadhaar (recommended)
- Open sso.rajasthan.gov.in/register.
- On the Citizen/Udhyog tab, tap the Jan Aadhaar icon.
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar Enrolment ID or 10-digit Jan Aadhaar number.
- Pick your name from the family list shown.
- Receive the OTP on the mobile linked in your Jan Aadhaar record and enter it.
- Create a username and a password that meets the official policy: 8–20 characters, at least one uppercase, one lowercase, one number, and one special character from @ # ? $.
- Submit. Your SSO ID is created instantly.
The username, once set, cannot be changed later — choose carefully.
Citizen Registration via Google (for non-Rajasthan users)
Click the Google icon, select your Gmail, grant access, and your Gmail becomes the username. Set a password and verify with mobile OTP. This is the practical route for RPSC aspirants from outside Rajasthan.
Udyog (Business) Registration
Select the Udyog icon, enter your BRN or Udyog Aadhaar, and confirm the firm details. Add your mobile and email, set a password, and verify with OTP. Done.
Government Employee Registration
Open the Govt. Employee tab and enter your SIPF username and password. Your personal details auto-fetch, then verify with mobile OTP and set your SSO password.
Right After Registration: 4 Things to Do First
- Log out and log back in once to confirm your credentials work.
- Open Profile and link Aadhaar to unlock more services.
- Complete your full profile — incomplete profiles often cause rejected applications.
- Install only the official SSO Raj app from Google Play. Avoid APK downloads or copycat apps that ask for your password.
Mobile App vs Browser
The SSO Raj app supports biometric login and works the same as the website. Mobile browsers also work fully — no feature is missing either way.
Common Errors & Fixes
- Mobile number already used — likely registered to a relative’s Jan Aadhaar. Use a different number or merge later.
- OTP not received — wait 60 seconds, try again, or check your Jan Aadhaar-linked number.
- Server Busy — try before 9 AM or after 8 PM; clear cache.
- Jan Aadhaar not found — enrolment may still be pending; check status on the Jan Aadhaar portal.
- Already have two SSO IDs — use the official Merge SSO IDs option on the login page. Holding more than one ID is against policy.
SSO ID Gujarat — Clearing the Confusion
Rajasthan SSO does not work in Gujarat. Gujarat residents should use digitalgujarat.gov.in for citizen services or gujaratsso.gujarat.gov.in for the state’s own single sign-on, both run by Gujarat Informatics Ltd.
What You Can Do With Your SSO ID
- Recruitment — RPSC, RSSB, OTR (₹600 General / ₹400 Reserved — fee charged by the Recruitment Portal, not by SSO)
- e-Mitra — bill payments, certificates
- Jan Aadhaar — updates and E-KYC
- Health — Chiranjeevi, RGHS
- Scholarship Portal (SJE)
- Business — GST returns, BPAS, drug licence
Trust, Safety & Official Sources
The portal is run by the Department of IT&C, Govt. of Rajasthan. Use only sso.rajasthan.gov.in — never click SSO links from SMS. The portal will never ask for your password by call or message. Official helpline: 0141-5123717 and 181. As per the official password policy, change your password at least once every 90 days to avoid auto-expiry.
